 Australian Native Bushfoods, arose from a passion for both native ingredients and sustainable farming.  Proprietors, Mark & Jennifer Lucas, began cultivating wattle under orchard conditions, using environmentally and ecologically sound methods more than 10 years ago.

Grown on their South Australia's Riverland, property, the species  Acacia victoriae supplies the wattleseed used in many products including the prize winning

 Judas the Dark ale from the Wilkadene-Woolshed Brewery

This Australian native plant, indigenous to the Riverland area, naturally provides a highly sustainable crop, and positive environmental impact.

Old Man Saltbush (atriplex mummularia),  indigenous to South Australia and other mainland states, is produced  for revegetation and culinary use.
